Location of Arrest: Zebulon, NC

Details of Alleged Crime: Ramiro Ramirez, 44, of Smithfield, caused a fatal car accident when he failed to stop at a red light and collided with a vehicle driven by Lorine Jones. Her husband, George Milton, 88, was a passenger in the vehicle and ultimately died from his injuries. After his arrest, it was discovered that Ramirez appeared to be in the United States illegally.

Location of Arrest: Broome County, NY

Details of Alleged Crime: Kevin Paiz-Figuero, who was discovered to be in the United States illegally, was arrested after kicking his wife and attempting to strangle her with a belt while the couple’s small child watched from a nearby crib.

Name: Nicholas Corona-Garcia

Location of Arrest: Marshall, MO

Details of Alleged Crime: Nicholas Corona-Garcia, who is believed to be in the U.S. illegally from Mexico was arrested for allegedly brutally assaulting his 23-month-old twin sons. The young boys suffered from fractured ribs, a fractured pelvis, femur, and damaged intestines. It appeared that the 23-month-old twins were also extremely malnourished. The boy’s mother told police that Corona-Garcia singled out the twins for his abuse because they did not look like Corona-Garcia and had lighter hair.

Name: Bulmaro Mejia-Maya

Previously Deported: Unknown – Lived in Sanctuary City.

Location of Arrest: Cook County, IL

Details of Alleged Crime: Bulmaro Mejia-Maya, 29, is believed to have raped and murdered a woman that lived in a nearby sanctuary city apartment. The woman, 33-year-old Tiffany Thrasher, who was believed to be strangled, didn’t appear to have any known connection to Mejia-Maya other than the close proximity of their apartment buildings.

Name: Tommy Vladim Alvardo-Ventura

Previously Deported: Yes – (he was deported to El Salvador 4 times between 2006-2011).

Location of Arrest: Hempstead, NY

Details of Alleged Crime:  According to police, Tommy Vladim Alvardo-Ventura, a 31-year-old MS-13 gang member who had been previously deported from the United States four times, stabbed two women and sexually assaulted a 2-year-old girl in a New York City suburb.
